If you return the car with a partially filled tank, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Under the EZ Fuel option, Autonoleggi Demontis will refuel your vehicle at a reduced price (if you have travelled no more than 120 km). Prices vary depending on location. "As far as ADBLUE is concerned, the car you have rented reflects the legislation adopted over the last few years by many European countries to reduce polluting emissions from diesel engines.
Therefore, it requires an additive called ADBLUE, which is compulsory for all Euro 6 engines, i.e. the latest generation, and is equated with a real fuel, which is now necessary.
In fact, you can find this product on sale at any service station.
The average consumption of AdBlue is 2 litres per 1000 km, so in order to prevent you from topping up the additive at the end of your rental, we charge only 1 euro + tax for total mileage of less than 1000 km and 2 euro + tax for longer mileage, with no additional cost for the service provided.
As an exception, we kindly ask you to top up the additive only if the additive level is very low (the warning light comes on), in order to avoid a total block of the vehicle".

We care about the peace of mind of your trip, which is why it is possible and optional to fully or partially eliminate liability in the event of damage to or theft of your vehicle.

Costs and types of cover vary depending on the booking (web, telephone, broker, tour operator) and any company agreements.

For more details we are happy to advise you on the best solution for your rental, contact the agency or email info@autonoleggidemontis.com or ask a member of staff at the time of collection of your vehicle: we will offer you a wide variety of cover options.

We understand that you may be late, so we try to be as flexible as possible.
If you are running late or wish to extend your rental, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.
In the event that you are late returning the vehicle without notifying us or extending your rental, you may be charged a late fee.

If the car is delivered more than 29 minutes later than the end of the contract your rental will be extended and you will be charged an extra day at the rental office's rate plus a late fee for each day, or part of the day, until the car is returned.

If, after 24 hours the car has still not been delivered a second commission will be applied and will continue to be applied every 24 hours until the car is returned to the rental office.

We understand that you may need to deliver the car when we are not there, especially if you deliver the car at the airport and have a flight to catch.

For this reason, many of our rental offices give our customers the possibility to deliver the car at the time they want.

Simply leave the keys in our dedicated box. Remember that you are responsible for the condition of the rented vehicle until the final inspection.

When you collect your vehicle we will inform you where you will have to park your car on your return.

You are charged a fee for each day (24 hours) that you rent a vehicle.

Whether you rent for only two hours or for 24 hours, you will still be charged for the whole day.

If you return the car and any optional extras in advance, you will lose the benefit of any special offers if you no longer meet their requirements. This may result in a higher rental charge. There is no refund for unused days.

The condition report in the app should show all damages. If you see further damage, you should report it to our staff.

Soon there will be further functionality available in the app with which you will be able to record any discrepancies.

If in doubt, contact the rental office team.

In the event of a fine, as the owner of the vehicle we receive a notification from the competent authorities with the aim of identifying the driver of the vehicle. Responsibility for the fine is transferred to the driver and the competent authorities reissue the fine on behalf of the driver.
For this process, we charge a handling fee to cover our costs of E. 40.00 + VAT.
Once liability has been correctly transferred, the competent authorities will contact the driver and send the fine by post.

The deadlines for payment of the fine will be updated so that the time required to transfer responsibility does not affect the driver. In some cases, it is not possible to transfer responsibility and the fine is paid directly by us on your behalf.
In these cases, we will endeavour to pay the lowest possible amount for the fine and will charge the cost of the fine directly to you.

To contest a fine, the authorities must be contacted directly. More information about this process and the authority's contact details will be available on the summons you received.
The hirer of the vehicle is solely responsible for any traffic violation fines and related administrative costs incurred during the rental period.
